Well i noticed how similar (well sort of ) vbulletin and mybb are so i was wondering

could i make threads look like this (this is a vbulletin forum)

and i found that tutorial useless but it said in a database manager idk?

Not sure how it's useless, those are the exact steps you need to do it. If you're finding it useless you're not following it properly. You need access to phpMyAdmin or something, like it says.

Are you talking about having the user details show up on the left instead of above the post? If so it is a setting in the admin cp and the user cp.

ACP is for new users and guests, UCP has to be changed per person, so if he wants all users to have the classic postbit, which most people do, he'll need the SQL query.
