Current board URL is http://www.centpoker.com/phoenix/Upload/index.php
To change the board URL to www.centpoker.com/forums, would I simply just change the board URL in the admin CP to that, or will it involve moving files/folders in the FTP? If so, which files and folders would I have to move from /phoenix/upload/ to get it to work with /forums?

Make a new folder named "forums"(Without the quotes) in the root. Then move all your files and folders that you have in your "Upload" folder to your "forums" folder.

Then after, update your board URL and cookie settings in the adminCP and in the settings.php file in /inc

Why do it that way?? Isn't much point in editing a file and then doing it in the ACP when you can just do it in the ACP.

Change the board URL and cookie settings first, the forum will break for a bit, then move the files, and everything will re-align itself. No file edits needed
