If you've just upgraded from 1.4.4 you can't have upgraded properly when you first went to 1.4.4 so go to ./install/upgrade.php and choose 1.4.3 from the list. Either that or you have a sidebox plugin.
I did the 14.3 thing, but now all my links are broken, instead of forum.php and showthread.php, the links are all forum-1.html, forum-2.html, etc, and the threads are thread-1.html, thread-2.html, etc.
