I find it easier creating XML than PHP plugins

Can you be more specific? What exactly is it you want to do?
XML Plugin could be anything ranging from some kind of pseudo code in XML that is interpreted by MyBB to do something like extra output, or just a way to package PHP plugins. XML is a hammer, and when all you have is a hammer, every problem starts looking like a nail. Describe your problem please, not the tool you want to use to solve it.
