I'm wondering if I'm allowed to use the default MyBB images for things other then using it on MyBB.

I would think that this is true since MyBB is GNU/GPL complient.

And if I were, who would i have to credit for them?

As far as I'm aware, any image that is packaged as part of MyBB is under GNU/GPL.

Most of them are FamFamFam icons...
