Well, I recently switched from Phpbb3 to MyBB and I'm loving it. I worked out most issues, only to find even more. I could use some help.

1. It seems users cannot use [img] tags in their signature. Is it their permissions? If so, where can I edit them.
I have all permissions set to yes.
2. How do I disable users from being able to hide themselves from the online list?

1. Are you sure the registration method is set to email verification?? If it is, see here for a mail test:

Can't really support reCAPTCHA as it isn't defualt MyBB, we don't know what could go wrong with it or how to debug and fix it.
2. Do a settings search for 'signature', I believe there is a seting for it.
3. Re-download the MyBB Merge System and make sure the loginconvert plugin is in the ./inc/plugins/ folder and is activated.
4. Make sure you're sure that the promotions task is enabled, the promotion itself is enabled, and that you have the task code in your footer template, {$task_image} IIRC. If not, can you printscreen the promotions page so we can check everything??
Yeah, that'll be because of the login convert, if redownloading the merge system and uploading a new copy doesn't fix it, try
this one. Make sure it's enabled.
You don't need to keep deleting posts and reposting to bump the thread, we generally get a bit annoyed when people always do that. We don't forget about you.
1. So ACP > Configuration > User Registration and Profile Options > Allow [img] Code in Signatures > is set to yes and ./inc/settings.php is CHMOD to 666?? Try turning the setting off, saving, and turning it on again.

Thanks, they both work now.
Ok, now um.....the signatures still aren't working. Now nothing displays in the posts. [img] tags work in the preview when editing the signature, but they do not show.
