When I converted from phpbb 3.0.4 --> MyBB 1.4.5 all the links, symbols ($, &, @) where displayed very odd and messed up.

Maybe because Mycode didn't read it correctly? Becuase [b] looked like this:

[b]hi[/b:u]

Can you email me everything in http://yoursite/yourmybbforum/convert/logs/ (in a zip or something) at ryangordon AT mybboard DOT net?

I'll be able to look into your issues better with that information.

Also, which version of the Merge System are you using?
