MyBB Community Forums

I am having a few problems with my MyBB Admin account, for some reason, i can not access my PM's, I have deleted and re-created my account and was woking fine for a couple of days then started playing up again! all it does is log me out and comes up with the following error:

These forums are currently closed for maintenance. Please check back later.

also, when ever i use the admin CP, i have to keep loging in everytime i cahnge the page!

this has been happening since i done the upgrade for MyBB 1.4.5 from MyBB 1.4.4

the URL of the forums is http://www.gigaspace.co.uk/forums

There is no test account but it only seems to happen with my account anyway!

nevermind, i have fixed the problem, it seems that when i changed the directory of the forums, i forgot to change the cookie URL and forum URL, can a mod/admin please close this thread!

Hey,

You need to check your cookie settings if you keep getting logged out. As your having trouble doing using the forum ACP I would recommend opening Settings.php and find the line where you can edit the cookie path.

Search the Wiki for more help about cookie settings (http://wiki.mybboard.net/). I would give you the link but its blocked here.

Once you changed that upload the file and then go into the ACP and then configuration. Once there you should find settings to Open your forums as that message you posted means that someone has closed the forum.

ok, the forums was open, i have fixed it before you posted this message/post and all i done was goto the atabase and change some settings in there, reset my browser and it worked!
