Hello there, i have a same kind of problem in my forum. I upgraded to 1.4.5

A part of the forum is blocked to guests through permissions. And the guest section is open for all.
So, if a guest visits the index page, the guest section is fine but the registered user's section shows blank for the guests.

I mean if i enter a forum (as guest) in the registered section, it shows: "Sorry but there are currently no threads in this forum with the specified date and time limiting options."
But it should at least show the threads from the outside & when i (as guest) enter , should show "no permission" page.

Another thing, these 2 options in Recount & Rebuild tab :
Rebuild Thread Counters &
Recount User Post Counts

i think are not working. When I click proceed, it just again says the same thing - Click "Proceed" to continue the recount and rebuild process.
