Do you mean all thread titles?
They're bold when they're unread, may be confusing if they're always bold.
If a thread is unread, then MyBB uses the subject_new CSS class to make it bold so it stands out. If you want all of the titles as bold, then just edit global.css, and in the a:link rule, add:
font-weight: bold;
