heloo there,

as part of enhacment i was doing to my forum, i decided to change the uploads' folder into another site i have, so it will consume the whole size of the other hosting instead of the one running my main forum.

i have registred, and i made the folder UPLOADS , and also AVATARS, i made both of them chmod 777. also changed the default upload location from my admin CP.

so when i headed to a new thread and tried to upload something, i got an error in the query it think !!!
as it couldnt' upload the file to the selected directory !!
actually , i rearangend the default setting , so i dont have the error message i got right now !!

so what else should i do so that i can upload to that folder?

If the folder is on another host you can't simply point the uploads directory to the other host. You would need to use FTP or some other such functionality to do it. At least that's what I thought you would have to do. I haven't tried it so it might work, just not for you now.
But you probably need to add some FTP code or something?
