While running the installation page, everything goes fine until it tries to do the theme insertion. I get this error:

mySQL error: 1364
Field 'css' doesn't have a default value
Query: INSERT INTO mybb_themes (tid,name,pid) VALUES (NULL,'MyBB Master Style','0')

Installation won't continue from here.

i had this problem when i 1st installed mybb
umm i suggest , deleting the setting of ur database, and follow the instructions here in creating it.

and then reinstall ur board.

By any chance are you running MySQL 5.0? The current public release does not properly support MySQL 5. When we release the next version, it will be completely compatible.

Yes, I'm running MySQL 5.
I can't follow your advice zaher1988, It requires cPanel, which from what I can tell is not yet compatible with windows.
