Is there a way to add buttons to the text editor in 1.4x?
I made a MyCode filter plugin but I couldnt figure out how to add the function to the editor without messing it up

yeahh i also wanna add the hide plugin in the upper side of the plugin editor near the code button

If you have a look at post#14 and the following you will find it for 1.4 as well.

Great tutorial and I see that one user changed the PHP line in editor.js to youtube. I've done the same (I don't need a PHP button) and I now get the right youtube tags (very nice!), but my youtube graphic is not showing up. Instead, I get the letter "B". I have my graphic in the /images/codebuttons directory. I've also added an entry for the tooltip in the global language file, but that doesn't display either.

I must be missing something. Any ideas?
