Normally each theme will have a "readme" file that explains how to import a theme.
Basically, you download the theme you want to use. Then, upload (via FTP, or other means) the image folder to where the readme tells you to (if it has one, and normally, to ./images/).
Finally, go to ACP => Templates & Style => Import a Theme, and then press the "choose" button. Locate the .xml file for the theme on your computer. You can name the theme differently if you want to, and you don't normally need change any other settings.
Just select the "Import Theme" button at the bottom when you've done this, and you'll have a theme.
