It would be cool if I could place a subforum at the bottom of the page, more precisely: Below the main forum.
Or is there any option for displaying subforums?

The page that displays the threads. If there is subforum. it's displayed as sepperste categorie above all the main forum. To me it would make more sense to display it below the threads (or at least have an option for it - in case the thread list is long).
Even better: Display a subforum with all threads in collumns (as required many times).

If you just want the subforum list below the threads list, open the forumdisplay template, and move {$subforums} below {$threadslist}
