Hi,

I am interested in downloading the newest MyBB and converting my old forum (IPB V2.3.6) over to MyBB. It has been so long since I have done this stuff, that I have forgotten the basics.

I have my domain name purchased and am buying the hosting through Go Daddy. Upon checkout with Go Daddy, it has me for one year of Linux Based hosting. Is this the correct (or best and easiest method) for loading MyBB on their server?

I think most people use Linux based hosting, but you'll need to make sure that the requirements for MyBB ([Wiki: Requirements] (Broken link, head over to docs.mybb.com instead)) are catered for in your package. I'm quite sure GoDaddy meets them fine.
