Is there a way i could start with a fresh install of MyBB keeping the members and Categorys and the forum but loseing all the posts and plugins

make the database backup first..

i did that but what would i have to remove from the db

just create another database with same username and password. And upload back your database..

But what about all the entrys from plugins in the backup db
