What settings are you putting in?? Are they global announcements?? For specific forums??

I'll assume that you did this:
Admin CP -> Forums and Posts -> Forum Announcements -> (selected a forum, and then) -> Add an announcement -> Put a Title, Start Date, End Date, etc. -> Save Announcement
Then in the Configuration -> Settings -> Forum Display Options -> (at the bottom) Announcements Limit [make sure that the value is not set to 0] just put any value like 6 for example then Save Settings.
