I need to reinstall myBB and not sure how to uninstall it first.
Will that be enough just to drop the tables in DB?
Any help is much appreciated.
Thank you in advance.
You can just overwrite the information, if that's the case. Remove the .lock file from the ./install/ folder, and then just go to ./install/index.php, and just choose to reinstall.
Thanks for the tip. Gonna do it now.

OK, I reinstalled myBB.I can access it but not from my site admin area. Tha's the message I have when I try to access from my site's admin:

http://www.justdatedotcom.com/forum/login_osdate.php

Here's the message from outside:

http://www.justdatedotcom.com/forum/

and this one if I want to acess directly:

http://www.justdatedotcom.com/forum/mybb/index.php

and that's the only way I can actually se myBB admin:

http://www.justdatedotcom.com/forum/admin/index.php

Any suggestion, please. Really need it up and running ASAP.
Thank you

If that's an osdate script that's linked with MyBB's database, not sure what we can do about it if it's causing an error...

That just sounds like your host doesn't allow the directory to be accessed directly/with no file extension.

Can't see what's wrong with that one...
Thanks for your reply.
OK, coming back to my first post, to uninstall myBB. Will that be enough to just drop all tables in my DB or I have to do something else? ...Follow some sort of uninstall procedure?
Thanks.
As Tom said, you can just run the installer again. You can drop the tables if you really want to but there's no point if the installer will just overwrite them anyway... there is no 'uninstall' procedure...
If you want to uninstall...delete files from server via FTP and use phpmyadmin to delete the tables. Mybb doesn't offer a method to destroy itself..most scripts don't. You delete them manually which is quick enough.
