I have installed 1.4 and everything seems to be working well. My site is a new installation and is located at http://www.thesaltwaterline.com/forum/index.php.
New users a getting the activation email when I set the mail handler to php mail in the admin cp. However I started noticing errors on the system mail log saying the mail was not delivered. This was happening when users were sending email to each other from the member profile pages. See errors below:

I tried to set the mail handler to SMTP and still get an error message. I do not know if the activation emails work in this mode or not. I have checked all the SMTP settings and tried several different accounts with the same result. I also tested the Php mail like I found here and got the test email fine. Any ideas how to resolve this issue? I have read Wiki and looked through posts trying to find answers with no luck.
