Those storms were massive and caught SPC and alot of the NWS offices offguard. I'll admit though that i didnt even expect anything like that. Models really missed it. Anyways glad you are ok. Smile
Weather History in the freaking making man! In all my 24 years, I've never seen a storm like that or at least the damage. I have more videos and am uploading them as we speak. In a day or so, I will make a website with all the videos and images I took @

Would have been better if the models or one of the others had caught on to the potential as i may have even been tempted to drive down to chase this event. Big Grin

Looking forward to it.
Yes. That day I woke up, went and got my paycheck. The video where I am driving through Johnston City (where storm sirens blasting) I thought was going to be it severe weather wise. Then a co-worker called and said another cell was coming. I looked at the radar and headed west to the location of impact.

My video camera was dead though Sad Poor quality videos because I used my blackberry!

I got more videos up of a severe weather event that hit exactly ONE MONTH after our Derecho of May 8th!!! Now that is nuts!!! Be warned, strong language advisory. Do not attempt this sort of activity at home... I have over 10 years experience and know how to be safe and what not!

If your interested in chasing storms, I suggest researching "Storm Chasing Tours". It costs money but it well worth it and they can protect your life as well!

Sorry for the poor quality. I have my video camera back, so the next videos should be much clearer!
Storm chasing is quite exciting huh...hope to do that someday..Big Grin

You apparently have been bad! Now go to the corner, on your knees, elbows and nose against the wall...
Wow your voice is so ... redneck :p

Nice videos.
xD Great accent!! Its so much like my neighborhood!

"C'mon people.. Learn how to drive now!" xD That was awesome!
