I am trying upgrade from 1.4.4 to 1.4.6 but I am getting error. here is the error message when I type in "http://weathertime.izfree.com/mybb/mybb1.4.6/install/upgrade.php" this is the error message that I get "Warning: require_once(/home/weathrt/domains/weathertime.izfree.com/public_html/mybb/mybb1.4.6/inc/db_.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/weathrt/domains/weathertime.izfree.com/public_html/mybbmybb1.4.6/install/upgrade.php on line 50

Did you upload all the 1.4.6 files, overwriting the old versions....??

I download it twice from your site and upload the "Upload" folder using filezilla .

And they've overwritten the old versions of the files...?? Because it's saying some are missing and it sounds to me like they're in a different directory.

Are you putting the files in the correct directory or in the right structure?

I their are two places that file named "functions.php" is located "inc"folder and inc located in the admin folder. But did not find the named"db_.php" in the inc folder

Right, you've got forums in two different directories, http://weathertime.izfree.com/mybb/ and http://weathertime.izfree.com/mybb/mybb1.4.6, which one are you trying to upgrade, and which directory are you putting the files into??

Take a look a inc/config.php and look for this "$config['database']['type'] =". What does it say because the upgrade script is looking for that value, but it seems to be an empty?

Well that one hasn't even been installed yet, so how can you upgrade it...
