You can make a redirect of a forum by filling in a URL.
Is it possible to add a target textbox to fill in the URL's target. [_blank, _self, myframename]

Could you please explain a bit more? I am afraid I don't follow.

At the moment you can't do such a thing, however it would require small adjustments to index.php,. forumdisplay.php and admin/forums.php.

If you request it over on http://mods.mybboard.com, somebody may be able to make it for you.
