So, when I subscribe to a thread I get updates of which posts or whatever? Am I noticed about every author's post or just the main post's edits?

Yes, each time there is a reply to a thread that you are subscribed to, you'll get emailed.
Is there any way to change it so your only notified after the first post until you revisit the site....
Im having this prob with my members.
"There may also be other replies to this thread but you will not receive anymore notifications until you visit the board again."
