Ok so i was having trouble with my forum because like when you would log in it would say ok you logged in but then it would not let you see your user CP so all you had to do was refresh the page and it would be fixed so i tried changing my cookie domain or whatever and so now i have a real bad problem because, it would not let me log out so i cleared my history and now im logged out BUT I CAN'T LOG IN! And when i was logged in it when ever i tried to change my cookies back to the default it would not work because every time i try to do something in the admin CP it would ask for user name and password i mean every single time i clicked something and the problem with that is i can't save anything and now i can't even log back in at all not to my user CP or my admin CP i can't log in to anything, is there anything i can change from the FTP?
As it says very clearly in the sticky thread, there is nothing we can tell you without your URL. Yes, there is a way to change them in FTP, have you even read the sticky thread on this issue??
Ok that was my bad i got worried and i plus i didn't read all the way to the bottom of the post. My url is
http://consolemodz.sitepages.org i read to the bottom of the post and so i tried deleteing the settings.php after i downloaded it and that didn't help, oh and before that i made sure that it was set to 666 then checked my settings in google chrome and that didn't help so now im trying the site on internet exploer but i don't know what else to do
EDIT: can't access it from internet exploer even after changing my cookie settings im pretty sure i messed up when i changed the cookie settings... i changed it to .sitepages.org
Why is your cookie path /index.php/ ?? Where does it say to put a file name in there...??

You can update it by either going to the AdminCP(in general configuration) or the settings.php file in /inc
Because i can't log in to go to the admin CP so what program should i use to edit php files?
You just need to edit it in literally any text editor other than notepad, reupload the file, and then make the changes again in the ACP... all of this is clearly explained in the sticky thread at the top of the forum.
