I have the same problem :

I would like to make my phpBB3 board becoming a myBB board. I've made a SVN snapshot conversion and it works.

But there is a (big) problem with accents. Sentences are cut on every accent.

For exemple :

Un problème, une question à propos de votre matériel, de votre OS ? C'est ici !
