I can't get past the "Performing username updates.." then the page times out and get the Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage error.

What would be the cause for this? This is my first time upgrading this forum. I have unzipped the 1.4.6 and uploaded to all the correct directories (overwriting current files). I followed the upgrade directions from the wiki. So I'm stumped right now.

Did you also upload the ./inc/settings.php file ?

What's your MySQL version?? You may need to ask your host to increase your max_execution time setting.

Also, I'm not sure how settings.php has anything to do with this, especially saying to upload it, as the one in the download is blank so you don't need to upload it if you've already installed the forum, but OK...
