Yes HF uses that much. It's growing rapidly too. Luckily I have an unmetered 10mbps port so that's over 3TB a month I can use. My current server should be good for at least another year.
Also realiez that at HF I don't allow attachments beyond images. So all that bandwidth is really just the pages. I am doing about 4 million page views per month.
