Invision's smilies have a free licence. Best there is IMO.

Edit: Forgot about http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/20097942/ and Kolobok Smilies (granted, in Russian, but still understandable ).

The new ones are cheaper looking than the old, LOL, don't hold that opinion against me please!

Guess i am different as i prefer the 1.4 over 1.2 however i use neither. Use invisions and a few others.

I must admit I also love those Invision ones.

I am with HarryWx, I prefer the 1.4 smilies over the 1.2 ones
I am not a great fan of the Invision smilies though
