Hi,

I can't login to upgrade to 1.4.5. I've reset my password several times and it still will not enable me to log in

Upgrading from MyBB 1.4.4 to 1.4.5.

What could be wrong here?

Ah, it's been a while since there was a thread on this, it's probably been answered almost 100 times though. Make sure your member_login template is default and make sure you're sure your member.php is from the 1.4.5 package. This bug was fixed in 1.4.5. Are you sure you ran the upgrade script OK??

You should also really upgrade to 1.4.6...

Don't I need to upgrade to 1.4.5 first then 1.4.6?

You can just go straight to 1.4.6, you'd need to upload the entire 1.4.6 package (or upload the 1.4.5 changed files package and then the 1.4.6 changed file package) and then run the upgrade script. You can go from 1.4.4 > 1.4.5 then to 1.4.6 if you want, it's just an unnecessary extra step.
