My header seems to be very cramped, how do I leave a little space between each link?

Looks fine to me but go into the theme css and change it to your liking.

The text is too close together, I want it separated abit so it looks neater but I don't know how to do it.

if those are separate elements (if they're links they are anyway) you could just add a bit of padding left and right...
