I can't seem to find how to edit the drop down text color in the editor in the screenshot below. I also don't understand what the editor css is for in the admin panel under each theme. What is it changing? I've changed those colors to what I thought was working with the editor in the screen below but it appearantly is not?

The Editor have a specific file-based CSS:
jscripts/editor_themes/default/stylesheet.css

In the AdminCP you can change all "theme related" CSS.
