hmmm. just noticed 'lastpost' works fine. its -just- 'newpost' thats goofy. and, it looks like its only goofy if the thread has more than one page.

I started to look at the debug output, and for sure, the data being passed to some of the queries looked a bit sketchy but I'm still not famliar enough with the workings to say for sure.
