How can I hide my ip address form the global moderators? Like in ipb that it says private on posts for the ip's of the root admins?

You can hide your IP fom Moderators to NOT shown to them through editing the user group.

Admin CP > Users and Groups > Your Desired group of Moderators > Edit > Miscellaneous > Who's Online > and Untick the option of "Can view IP addresses on who's online?"
