MyBB Community Forums - how to automatically open database

someone told me how to do this a long time ago .. but .. I just upgraded,
and that one feature is gone now .. but .. the upgrade went smooth
and everything works great.

anyways .. I only have 1 database .. and when you go to my page
you have to select this 1 database to open it. I would like it if
when you went to the page that .. this database just automatically
opens.

Don't really know what you're talking about, what do you mean by 'when you go to my page', do you mean your forum?? Where do you 'select' a database...?? Undecided

there is only one main forum .. or .. database .. or table ..

you click on it .. and then .. all the posts come up ...

I liked it when .. it kind of opened itself and automatically showed all the posts

That isn't a database or a table, it's just a forum... still not really sure what you're trying to do though, you just have one forum on your index, with threads in it, that's how it works... am I missing something?? Undecided

Because there is only 1 forum .. I had it automatically open to show its threads. Someone had
told me a line to put in one of the php's to do this.

lets try this .. how do I search this forum for all the posts/threads that I started ?
I tried ... but .. my user name is mike_in_sd .. and the search engine wouldn't
allow the underscore ... lol
