This mod will make all of your external links have popup images that show a preview of the site before you click on it.
You can also enable and disable the mod at the acp of your forum-Board Settings-Link Thumbnails.
How to install the mod:

Log in to your ftp program and copy the linkthumbnails.php file to /inc/plugins folder. And as last but not least,
activate the plug in from the Acp of your forum-Configuration-Plugins.

Good!

Thanks! You are making good plugins Smile
Hi,

it's a nice work. But it's just a simple template editing. This plugin will only add the following line to "header":

<script language="javascript" src="http://thumbnails.iwebtool.com/src.js?border=004891" type="text/javascript"></script>

I wonder why there is the need to put it in a plugin file?

Maybe for those who don't feel comfortable modifying templates?

Cheers,
Gene
thumbnail has queue, does not show Smile

lol, it's just linking to an external thumbnail service ...
the question is, does it work ?
Im using the template mod, i think is better Modifiying Manually than use plugins...
window is very small,
this plugin loading only main link.
example:
link is: www.123.com/1/2/3/4
plugin loadin only: www.123.com

Yes, it is a very small edit indeed. And while you or me can add it very easy, you would be surprised as how many persons, as Gene53 said above, aren''t comfortable with editing the templates manually. Like the co-admin in one of the forums that I am a tech admin. She prefers to have a plugin instead of doing the changes manually. And liek her might be plenty of others. The thing is, if you don''t like to use it as a plugin, then do the edits manually, or if you don''t like it at all, you don''t have to use it. Simple as that Smile

As I stated at the very first post, it shows a preview of the site where the link that is posted comes from Smile
