Hello ...first let me say... I am so happy I downloaded this. My Assistant and I are having so much fun with it. However there are two situations we have a question about.

1) The time willnot change on the forum. It is showing the wrong time but the correct date. I changed it I thought on the board settings they are as follows:
Date Format:
m-d-Y
Time Format:
h:i A
Registered Date Format:
M Y
Default Time offset:
Correctly set to -7 hours..
Yet the time on the board shows way off... as 7 hours ahead. I just do not know what is going on and would appreciate the help.

Also how would I convert just the posts on my ipb2.3. I dont want anything else but the posts. I can recreate the forum categories and everything but the grueling detail of copy and past the over 4,000 posts has me concerned since I am anxious to use this board.

Thank you so very much for your timeSmile

Welcome to mybb Starnova.

Have a look at this topic about the time thing.

Regarding the convert, have a look here.

Hope it helps.
1. Are you changing this setting in the ACP?? I'm quite sure that the ACP setting only effects gusts and new users; to make it change for you, you must do it in your UserCP.

2. You can use the Merge System: http://www.mybboard.net/downloads/merge-system

However, you can't just import the posts. The posts depend on the threads being imported, the threads depend on the forums being imported, the forums depend on the users being imported, and the users depend on the usergroups being imported. This means you'll need to import a lot more than just the posts but it's all necessary to make it work.

LOL!!!!! I found the setting in my control panel under edit and it changed as soon as I did that ..hahaha bad me.. But I am a newbie..
I love the forum though... I wish I never had IPB to be honest with you.
Okay regarding the merge.. I tried it and blew it.. I lost the mybb board because I got confused as to what to upload where I will restudy it and see if I can figure it out..
Where I get confused is here. Do I upload the entire convert folder to the main directory?
Thank you for the speedy reply!Big Grin
Here you have a full guide to converting to mybb.

Got it.. I am just making this way too hard for myself it is quite simple and because I am coming off of IPB I am looking for difficulty..hehhehe thank you again!

I did convert but there now is a problem that I am hoping to get the answer to from the proper area. My post count is double of what it is I tried everything in ACP and no luck including rebuilding the posts and threads.Confused
