Hey all


well i was thinking, umm it will be a good idea to emplant some of the mods made by the official mods.

I dont mean all, but some things are really cool, and would puch MyBB even further, like for example we have:

1. Advanced Reputation System
   
2. Sex & Age in the PostBit (With icons)
   
3. Auto PM on registration.
   
4. Times the profile was visited.
   
5. Avatar Caption.
   
6. Status on profile.
   
7. Quick Quote.
   

Those are things used by most of people !! and not so heavy on the forum performance, and they are accepted by everyone.

A good idea (if only because my mods might get voted )

Perhaps on the download page on mods.mybboard.com have a "Did you like this mod?" button. Number of downloads shouldn't count.
And it shouldn't be open to everyone. Only to people who have registered (and posted) on this site. That way it'll stop people voting for their own mods although I'm sure noone will .

Maybe the best mod every month or one every new release? An official mod pack (5 mods) perhaps?

crap idea, mods should stay mods...if some are that great then i am sure chris can implement them in himself, i like mods being added on your own..makes it more fun.

Aaron is right. The main benefit to having a modular system is that you only install what you want / need.

OTOH, we could have a mod of the month (based on votes).

No guys i'm not talking about mods in general , i'm just talking about few mods which are very usefull and vital!! with will be an extra option for mybb.

Tell which reputation system is more attractive ?! the original or the ARS.?
