I want to put a group icon by the profile name instead of under the profile name so like so...

[icon][name]
instead of
[name]
[icon]


if anyone can tell me how i would appreciate it.

You will edit the template in the admincp.

When you are on the page do a view source. You will see comments tags where it will say templates start and end. Find the code you want to alter then go to admincp and edit that template.
