I've been fiddling with a few of the SEO plugins this evening and I'm having a difficult time because, of course, they all require .htaccess. My webserver uses lighttpd so the .htaccess file doesn't work for me.
I have activated the mod_rewrite for lighttpd and I use it for a number of other sites on the server. The problem I'm having is that I'm having a tough time deciphering the regex from .htaccess and translating to lighttpd format. If anyone is familiar with lighttpd and can help me out I would appreciate it. I'm sure adding lighttpd support notes to these plugins would benefit the developers as well.
