Hello,

I'm looking to post the username of the person viewing the thread/post, the idea is to say "Hello <username>" in the beginning of the post, however there doesn't seem to be any easy way of putting the username there.
Unless there is a {variable} I have over looked...?

"Hello {$post['username']}" does not work. Also custom myCode can't work either since it is only html not php.

Anyone know how to do this?
I think Lex- made a Plugin for those viewers of threads/posts on the header just under the bread crumb. and perhaps available from www.mybbcentral.com
{$mybb->user['uid']} ??

That shows the name of whoever is logged in...
{$mybb->user['uid']} does not show who is logged in, I believe it has something to do with using a different template and Post-bit add-on. Not sure what is going on yet...
Sorry, meant username instead of uid, that'll show whoever is logged in.
