Hello All,

If I do the latest upgrade (1.4.8) manually (byfollowing the instructions on the txt file) will I loose my plugins?

Remember that the text file is just the security patches, you won't get the bug fixes by doing that.

ok. Thanks for the explanation. I am new to myBB.

One more question... upgrades usually causes us to loose the plugins or is it just this one?

No security or maintenance release should cause you to lose plugins, a very small number of them may break, but 99% of them should fine...
