You need to find a host, you can't use XAMPP to host a live forum, and have a proper domain with it, unless you really know what you're doing.

XAMPP should be used to have a localhost test forum.

[Wiki: Installing] (Broken link, head over to docs.mybb.com instead)
You install the same way as you do on a localhost, but for a live site, you need a proper host, not XAMPP, that's all...

I a bit slow on this whole thing can you help me Please I am all news to this hosting thing

Well, not really sure what you need help with because you haven't said which bit you don't get... you need to sign up to a host, and then you'll get given a place to upload your files, just like on your localhost, then you'll need to make a database, like you did on your localhost, and then install, like you did on your localhost...

All I need is to sign up for a host?

Pretty much... depending on what one you choose you may need your own domain, or you may not, they may give you a subdomain, like yourname.yourhost.com... then you can upload your files as normal.

So then the yourhost/forumname will not be there but something else?

Yes, you'll be allowed to choose what the 'yourname' bit of the subdomain would be...
