Actually, I think this will be fixed by uploading a fresh index.php file.

It seems to be the only affected file, going to portal.php works just fine.

Wouldn't it be reverting the index template to default??

Well they seemed to somehow injected code into a table in the database

templates - > index

Ill have to see if im up to date on the release as well

I would have thought they'd do more than mess up the index template if they had admin CP access. But yeah, give that a go too then.

In the end what you need to do is upgrade to the latest MyBB version and ensure that your FTP/MySQL passwords are safe.

They didnt have admincp access, or ftp access.

Im pretty sure they injected the code somehow.

What version of MyBB are you using?

I'm using 1.4.6.

Right now im upgrading to 1.4.8. I could still get into the admincontrol panel, they just changed the index file of the template in the database. And only changed it on the active template since users didnt have the option to change templates. The original template was fine.
