I get the markers to show up in the footer, but not on the forums themself.

Templates > Your Themes Templates > Forum Bit Templates > forumbit_depth2_forum. Change {$lightbulb['folder']}.gif too {$lightbulb['folder']}.png

And then

Templates > Your Themes Templates > Forum Bit Templates > forumbit_depth2_cat   {$lightbulb['folder']}.gif too {$lightbulb['folder']}.png
