This is getting on my nerves, it still seems to lead me to the same website (ifastnet).

Okay so.

1. I uploaded everything in the "Upload" folder.
2. I closed my site and deactivated all plugins (is this necessary? if yes then why?)
3. I went to www.hybrix.co.nr/htdocs/install/upgrade.php
4. It redirected me to ifastnet.com


I believe I made an error on Step 1; I uploaded all the files but im not sure if it overwrite the old files?

Any help?

No you don't put htdocs in the URL, you don't put that in the URL any other time do you... it's just http://www.hybrix.co.nr/install/upgrade.php .... and you don't really need to deactivate your plugins but you should make a database backup first.

Oh ok, its just that on the wiki it said "www.yourdomain.com/forumfolder/install/upgrade

Thanks everything is working now

The htdocs folder isn't your forum folder, that's the general webspace for your files... you have you MyBB files in the htdocs folder, you never actually put that into the URL... by forum folder it means if you have your forums setup like learnmybb.com/forums/index.php
