I decided to install MyBB locally to test it out. I dowloaded the file from the downloads section--the file, however, is 777k (not the size listed on the page) and the installation screen says PR2.
So, is this the wrong file???
I took a look around the forums, but didn't see anything.

Nope. Same file.
The installation is showing PR2.
I'll just install anyway...perhaps it is 1.0 but the installer wasn't updated correctly???

Well...it installed fine
In the ACP, it's saying 1.0 and the check version is saying I have the latest.
So, I;m guessing the Installer welcome page just needs an update to avoid any confusion.

Yes, it looks as though the version number wasn't updated in the installer but this will be fixed soon.
