This isn't a bug. Do you have either myfavicon or phpfreechat plugin activated? If you do, disable them.

Not really sure what you're trying to say there... do you have either of those plugins?? If you don't, do you have Delayed Thread Views turned on?? To check, go to ACP > Configuration > Show Thread Options > Delayed Thread View Updates > make sure it is set to Off.
