Is there anyway to have a forum area on my board, and it is inactive to guests (so they dont even know its their), but when you login it pops up.

I do not want to simply add/remove permissions, I want to make sure guests cant even see the forum exists, as if it was not there.

Yes, you do that with forum permissions..... You can make it totally invisible to guests...

How do I make it invisible to guests? If I remove their ability to view they know the forum is there but cant view within it.

I want to make sure they dont even know the forum is there.

Just remove all permissions from it and they won't see it, make sure 'Use Group Default' isn't checked.
