Hi.
I just installed myBB on my server and while everything seemed fine during installation and first run, for some reason if I try to register a new account it won't send the activation link.
Email settings for my board are php mail and activation is required.

any ideas?

Did the mail test just now. It says "Mail was sent by PHP" with no errors but I didn't receive any messages to my email. Checked the spam folder and nothing.

p.s I did change the script to my address

Maybe check with your host.

Same thing happening to me, seems to be many people having this problem.

Have you run the test??

Some hosts do not allow php_mail()
Check if your host allow it or not.

I had this issue. I just turned it off as it often turns off some users from actually registering. It's just as easy to click and ban a spammer.
